RV Tech Mag RSS Feeds

RSS is short for Really Simple Syndication and is a way to receive updated web content without the necessity of having to check every website for the latest blogs, news bulletins, podcasts or featured articles. The user subscribes to these feeds by using an RSS reader which will search and deliver any website feeds that you have subscribed to automatically. This keeps you up to date on the latest developments in the areas you have interest in without having to deal with spam or other unwanted "push" messaging and without having to manually search each website. In short, it's a time saver.

In order to access RSS feeds you first need to obtain an RSS reader program. RSS readers are produced by aggregators. Aggregators search for updated web content and send it to anyone who uses their RSS reader and is subscribed to that particular website. The content is delivered timely and only when new content is available. There are a number of RSS readers available online. Most are free and each has its own unique features and benefits. Some possibilities are:

MyYahoo! is a personalized and customizable version of Yahoo that gives users the ability to add their favorite RSS feeds, widgets, and other features. If you have an existing MyYahoo! account you can subscribe to our RSS feeds by clicking on the MyYahoo! button. This will automatically add the particular feed to your personal page. If you don't have a MyYahoo! page you can register for an account at http://my.yahoo.com.

Google also offers a personalized and customizable start page for all users available here http://www.google.com/iq. Clicking the "Add to Google" button will allow you to easily add our RSS feed to your Google homepage or your Google RSS reader. Your Google homepage allows you to aggregate content and functionality from across the web on your own start page. Google also offers an RSS reader that allows you to keep up with the latest content from a large number of sites on a single page.

Most recent versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer include a built-in feed reader. When viewing a particular website that offers feeds, such as RVtechMag.com, this icon turns orange. You simply click on the icon to bring up the feeds page and view the recent feeds or subscribe to that feed.

There are frequent article updates to the RV Tech Mag website. By subscribing to my "What's New" feed you'll get news on the latest articles right when they are posted. It is not automated so the news will only show new articles rather than anything that gets changed on the website.
